Birth of Baby Charlotte – Grand Rapids Birth Photographer

Wendy and Jason’s labor was amazing.  There is something to be said for a natural laboring mama. Jason was by her side coaching her through each moment and even when her pain was unbearable to watch, he continued to encourage her through until the end.

Wendy and I had finalized the details of her birth session on October 20th as baby wasn’t due until November 1. Needless to say, the 4:00am wake up call came early and unexpected. When I arrived, Wendy was very much in “labor land” and already dilated to 6 cm. I guess baby girl Charlotte couldn’t wait to meet her parents. Less than one hour later at 4:55am on October 21, the room was filled with her sweet cries! What an earth moving moment!
